The Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida announces
the Scale Up 305 Business Incubator Project
North Miami, Florida – April 4, 2022
For the past two years, the Coronavirus Pandemic has severely impacted the livelihood and subsistence of enterprises, large and small, worldwide. In Miami-Dade, countless businesses continue to struggle to meet the demands of a dynamic market. Under the leadership and commitment of Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and County Commissioner of District 2, Jean Monestime, a strategic vision has emerged to address the specific needs of small businesses while stimulating financial growth within the community.
On October 1, 2021, the Office of Management of Budget Grants Coordination (OMB) of Miami-Dade County awarded The Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, Inc (HACCOF) the sum of $600,000.00 to create and develop a business incubator to assist Miami-Dade entrepreneurs, start-ups, and scale up small businesses.
HACCOF Scale Up 305 business incubator is an innovative project whose vital goal is to deliver a top-notch business curricula program that enhances and improves the services of small business entrepreneurs of Miami-Dade County.
Scale Up 305 Business Incubator Project consists of a customized program targeting the deficiencies within a small company while fostering essential business resources and strengthening networking opportunities through fora and roundtables. A catalog of foundational business tools will include operations management, accounting, marketing, compliance, industry research, to name a few. Furthermore, Scale Up 305 will provide individual business assessments and implementation of goals, fundamental coaching and mentoring of new start-ups, weekly workshops, and support services thoughtfully crafted by renowned industry experts.
