8th Annual Top 20 Under 40 Young Professionals Award Gala

The 8th Annual HACCOF Top 20 Under 40 YoPro event was a night to remember, filled with elegance, celebration, and a touch of Miami magic. Hosted at the picturesque Loews Hotel in Coral Gables, this year’s gala brought together a record-breaking crowd of over 480 attendees.

The evening began with an enchanting outdoor cocktail reception fit for a night at the Oscars, on the terrace overlooking the beauty of Coral Gables. The skyline served as a stunning backdrop as guests mingled and enjoyed signature cocktails. 

As the sun set over the city, our gracious hosts welcomed all the attendees with warm smiles and open arms. It was a testament to the spirit of unity and camaraderie that defines the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida and our community.

The anticipation for the evening neared its pinnacle as the time came to introduce the 2023 Class of Top 20 Under 40 Young Professionals. These young professionals, rising stars in their respective fields, were met with thunderous applause and admiration from the audience. Our Mistress of Ceremonies, the charismatic Tamara Rodriguez, effortlessly guided the evening’s program with grace and charm. Her stage presence was a true highlight, setting the tone for the night.

After an exquisite dinner that surely delighted, it was time for entertainment that matched the grandeur of the occasion. The New Century Dance Company took the stage, leaving the audience in awe with their mesmerizing performances. Their talent and energy electrified the room.

Unlike previous years, HACCOF paid tribute to remarkable individuals in our community. The Leadership Hall of Famers included Vedner Guerrier (also our wonderful keynote speaker), Pascal Desroches, Reginald Desroches, Dr. Carmel Barrau, and the Daniel Fils-Aime Entrepreneurial Excellence Award winner, Villy Choute. Their achievements and contributions to the Haitian-American community continue to bring so much pride to our community.

These bright young mind showcased dedication and promise, embodying the potential of our future leaders.

The dance floor became a place of joy and jubilation as the night continued. Laughter filled the air as guests, old and new friends alike, celebrated the accomplishments of the YoPros, their families, and the other honorees. It was a night of unity, positivity, and pure fun.

Ultimately, the 8th Annual HACCOF Top 20 Under 40 YoPro event concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a shared optimism for the future. It was a night that brought the community together, recognized excellence, and showcased the vibrant spirit of the Haitian-American business community. As the lights dimmed and the night drew to a close, it was clear that this event had set a new standard for HACCOF gatherings. It truly was a night to remember and a celebration that will be cherished for years to come.
