The Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida is now accepting applications and nominations for its 2018 YOPRO Awards which recognize the “Top 20 under 40” Young Haitian-Americans Professionals and Leaders within their respective fields.

Young Haitian American Professionals are a vital asset to the South Florida Region and our State. It is important to recognize and acknowledge those who have made a mark in their field while shaping the future of our community.
The Haitian American Chamber of Commerce (HACCOF) is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting nominations and applications for its 2018 “Top 20 Under 40” Haitian American Young Professionals (YOPROs) Award for Leadership, Professional Excellence, and Community Involvement.
Candidates in any industry or field of expertise can apply.
Candidates must be 39 years or younger as of June 16, 2018 and be based in the State of Florida. An Advisory Panel will meet to review all applications and select our 2018 “Top 20 Under 40” YoPros honorees. Advisory Panel decisions are final.

Our 2 nd a nnual HACCOF “Top 20 Under 40” YoPros award event held last year was attended by over 350 attendees at the JW Marriott in Miami. It was a wonderful community celebration of our very best young professional leaders coupled with some well-deserved acknowledgment of gratitude for our elders who have paved the way.
Honorees will be notified of their status as a Top 20 under 40 Honoree by the end of April. HACCOF looks forward to beginning to announce honorees online starting May 1st thru May 15th, 2018. Our “Top 20 under 40” YoPros 2018 class will be recognized at our award event ceremony on June 16, 2018. All Honorees “Top 20 under 40” YoPros are fully expected to attend the award ceremony.
