Michael Joseph, Esq. is a practicing attorney with the law firm of Galbut Walters and Associates and is an elected Commissioner to the city of North Miami Beach. He previously worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security while earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration from Florida International University. Michael earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University’s School of Law.
He is active in various civic and social organizations such as the 5000 Role Models of Excellence program, 100 Black Men of South Florida, the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU) for Miami-Dade County and the National Haitian American Elected Officials Network (NHAEON).
Michael was born in Miami, FL into a Haitian-American family who immigrated to the United States in the early 1980s. Michael and his wife are raising their son in the Sunray West neighborhood of North Miami Beach, Florida.
