Born to Haitian immigrants in the late 1980’s in Boston, MA, Claudia Norvilus moved to North Miami, FL in search of warmer climates in 2014. Before moving to South Florida, Claudia attended Providence College, in Providence, Rhode Island allowing her to be the first person in her family to attend college and attain a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. During her time during college, Ms. Norvilus was dedicated to giving her time and energy to volunteerism and cultural diversity through mentorship to upcoming graduates of color and facilitating volunteer opportunities that benefit the community of Providence, RI as well as Providence College.

Although hard to leave family members and friends in Boston, Claudia moved to South Florida in search of new opportunities and looking for an avenue to be involved within the community. Claudia established her career as an event director at the W South Beach hotel while attaining her MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Miami campus. As the hospitality industry suffered during the pandemic Claudia took some time to volunteer with the Miami Diaper Bank
reigniting her passion for volunteerism and later joined the HACCOF event committee to help plan events that celebrate the culture of Haiti and its Diaspora. Claudia is currently a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Locus Robotics and volunteers with House of New Vision and Hope.s with 7 days ministries and Sinai SDA in Plantation, FL.
