
Fosie is the Executive Director at We Are Essential, LLC., a public health staffing and consulting company. Her public health career spans community outreach and health relations, focusing on marginalized communities through education, cultural and linguistic advocacy.
She has been at the forefront of the response and planning for the long-term recovery of the Coronavirus pandemic. She’s currently the Deputy of Operations with the State of Maryland Department of Health, Covid-19 Recovery Program.
Fosie also has an extensive background in political campaigning and community organizing. She served as Regional Data Manager for the 2020 Biden Presidential Campaign, Regional Organizing Director with the Elizabeth Warren Campaign, the 2016 Hillary Clinton Campaign, Congressional Field Manager with the Democratic Congressional Committee, and various local, State, and Federal campaigns.
Her involvement in ensuring population equity led her to work with the Census Bureau for the 2020 Decennial Census as a Field Manager. Overseeing the Address Canvassing, Group Quarter Advance Contact of Congregate Care Facilities to include Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Targeted Non-sheltered Outdoor locations ensuring count of the Homeless Populations across Florida.
Early in her career, Fosie worked as a former Adoption Coordinator with the State of Florida Child Welfare system. She remains engaged in the community through her voluntary work, is a current member of the United Nations Association of the USA, the Haitian-American Democratic Caucus of Florida, a former Democratic Executive Committeewoman, and serves as a board member of multiple community organizations.
