With more than 10 years of experience in organizational management and business operations, Marline Monestime has overseen workforce programs, budget and grant implementation, and business engagement initiatives in South Florida.
Marline Monestime is a Certified Floodplain Manager with a Bachelor’s in Administration and a Master of Arts degree in Disaster Management. Fueling her love for community development, resiliency, and advocacy, Marline has completed several prestigious leadership programs; Sant La Haitian Neighborhood Center’s Fellows, Catalyst Miami’s Community Leadership on the Environment, Advocacy, and Resilience (CLEAR), and Housing Equity, Advocacy, and Leadership (HEAL). She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Planning Association, Association of State Floodplain Managers, and Florida Floodplain Managers Association.
Marline is the Executive Director of the Haitian American Professionals Coalition, Inc., a 17 member organization, working to carry out its mission to increase access and availability of health, legal, academic, and social services. Additionally, Marline serves as Vice-Chair on the Executive Board of Directors for the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, Marline supports the local business community through business development and retention services. Marline also serves as a Board Member on the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County, supporting programming and development for affordable housing, homeownership, and creating strong, vibrant neighborhoods.
Marline also operates MMB Consulting Group, a boutique event planning and business management consulting agency established in 2014 to coordinate small to large scale social and fundraising events for not-for-profit organizations, municipal government entities, and the small business community.
