Gabriella Alexis

Gabriella Alexis, a native Miamian and proud Haitian-American woman, is a published writer, researcher, and community advocate. Gabriella earned her B.S. in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida.
She is passionate about serving and advocating for the health and well-being of all communities and the advancement of Haitians in South Florida through community economic justice. Each environment has provided her with the roots to start and an unending thirst for knowledge. She pledges to generate meaningful actions to advance health equity and financial freedom for all community members.
In her free time, Gabriella enjoys poetry, spoken word, dancing, attending music festivals, biking, traveling to other countries, and engaging in outdoor activities, including going to the beach and biking.
