Geden Franck

Dr. Geden Franck is a trailblazing figure in Sports Medicine, known for his dual board certifications and recognition as a top healthcare professional in South Florida. With a background rooted in Miami and Haitian immigrant parents, his journey reflects the power of dedication. He earned honors at Emory University, obtaining a Bachelor’s in Biology, and pursued a Master’s and Medical Degree at Florida State University College of Medicine.
Dr. Franck completed his Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center/Shock Trauma Center and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Miami Sports Medicine Institute. Inspired by his own high school football experience at Miami Northwestern, he recognized the need for improved medical care for student athletes.
His expertise in Sports Medicine led to prominent roles as the Sports Medicine Physician for the University of Miami Athletic Program, collaborations with the Miami Marlins of the MLB, and support for University of Houston and Houston Baptist University. Dr. Franck now serves as the Head Team Physician for three South Florida universities and volunteers as the Team Physician for Miami Northwestern.
Beyond his medical achievements, Dr. Franck actively promotes equity in medicine by mentoring and motivating individuals of color. With a belief in the healing power of laughter and a dedication to underserved communities, he embodies the values of hard work, dedication, and service.
