Geraldine Montilus is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in medical staff relations, contract management, patient experience, quality improvement, strategic planning, employee engagement, business development, and community relations. Currently serving as the Director of Physician Services at Jackson North, she oversees a 4-million-dollar annual budget and provides guidance to approximately 250 active medical staff providers. Her responsibilities include contract management, onboarding evaluations for physicians, and supervision of medical students and residents.

Geraldine’s expertise extends to building cultural relations within the Haitian community, as she has been consulted by Jackson North’s leadership team for this purpose. She actively engages religious, professional, and social-based organizations through collaborations such as sponsorships, meetings, professional development programs, radio shows, galas, and health fairs. Under her leadership, Jackson North collaborated with over 20 organizations from March 2022 to May 2023.

In addition to her current role, Geraldine is enrolled in a Leading and Thriving leadership cohort as part of Jackson Health System, where she is one of the select leaders participating in a 10-month program. She has also taken on the role of an initiative owner at Jackson North for a project focused on improving the length of stay, aligning with the organization’s long-term innovation plan.

Geraldine holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Barry University. Looking ahead, she is dedicated to completing the necessary steps to become a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, further advancing her career in healthcare leadership.
