Dudly Paul-Etienne is the President of Dudly’s Professional Services (DPS). DPS is a certified women owned business within south Florida. Dudly has been providing Community Engagement, Jobsite Monitoring and Technical Support services within the construction industry since 2006; her expertise spans both individuals as well as organizations. Dudly earned her B.A. in Construction Engineering Technology from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee, Florida. She has held several positions in Commercial Construction with an emphasis on Education, Parks & Recreations, Hospitality, Health Care Facilities, and much more. Dudly has worked on contracts ranging from $1.5 million to $5 million; projects includes the Café 601 Renovation, Miami Marlins Ballpark Parking Garage, Miami Marlins Ball Park Stadium, Miami Children’s Courthouse and much more.

 

Dudly takes pride in ensuring her clients are knowledgeable on the impact of hiring small businesses on profitable projects and engaging with the community when potential job opportunities arise within a project. Dudly believes small businesses and working citizens are the force behind a successful economy. Once an opportunity is given, it will allow that firm or individual to strive further than they can imagine.

 

Currently, Dudly is a member of the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce. Also, she’s Co-Chair of the Marketing committee for the South Florida National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC). During her time with NABWIC, she helped facilitate and organize the first Industry Day Program at Cardozo High School in Washington, D.C. Industry Day helped educate the youth on the varies occupations within the Architecture, Aviation, Construction, and Engineering industry. Since launch of the program, NABWIC conducted four Industry Day programs in Washington, D.C. and two Industry Day programs in South Florida. Among the workload required to run a successful business, Dudly takes pride in being a part of the Advisory Board for Florida A&M University Construction Engineering Technology Program. As a board member, her ultimate goal is to ensure students within the program is guaranteed internships from current construction being held on campus. Internships and great mentorship has helped shaped Dudly and she believes that is what students require to succeed.

 

After having a good friend lose their child from a rare diseases called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), Dudly was inspired to start a non-profit organization to aid families fighting similar illnesses. DoriCares Foundation, named after Dudly’s beautiful 1 year old daughter, which is a non-profit organization that helps fund understudied children diseases in the United States. Also, the DoriCares Foundation help educate mothers the importance of using natural remedies to reduce the risk of common deficiency.
