Industry: Marketing / Advertising
Johanne Wilson’s decisiveness and joy to serve comes from her unwavering faith. She and her husband co-founded COOL Creative (Create Out Of Love), a brand marketing house that builds brands with beautiful design and exciting digital content. Throughout her vibrant career, she has been recognized with several awards, including: Addy Award, P&G AG Lafley Deign Award, 40 Under 40, and Urban League Service; she is also a Goldman Sachs 10K Small Businesses alumna. For over a decade, Johanne has worked on national campaigns for various clients, including Vail Resorts, Under Armor, Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, P&G Beauty and Burger King. As a graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art, Johanne is known for her sharp eye for style. COOL Creative continues to serve clients such as FIU, SafeLink (a TracFone brand), Hallendale Beach Chamber of Commerce and PlanBe: Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program funded by the U.S. Department of Health. As a woman of Haitian descent, her strong desire is to shift the focus from the island’s devastation and poverty to its creativity and resources. Fun fact: Johanne is known for destroying song lyrics. “I try,” she says, “but I have a hard time getting song lyrics right.” For Johanne, to have dinner with Jesus, Oprah, Michael Jackson and Cardi B (“all at the same time,” she insists) would be amazing.
