
Nimrod Simeon is a Trade Analyst, Global Trade & Business Development at PortMaimi. He holds a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor in International Business from Florida International University, FIU. He is part of the Cargo Development Department that works to keep creating more opportunities and developing more strategies to increase trade through PortMiami. He enjoys what is doing because that has a direct and indirect economic impact in our community to create more business Development, and more jobs. He participated in many global trade conferences and seminars. He is very involved in the PortMiami Propeller Club. He is the Chair for the Public Relations Committee for the Rotary Club of Little Haiti. He is also one of the founder members and a member of the Board of Directors.
As a Rotarian, he is very involved in many community events. He believes giving back to the community is extremely important to continue working together, and supporting each other. He is a former Legislative Analyst/Community Liaison for the Office of the Honorable Audrey M. Edmonson, Miami Dade County Commissioner District 3. Working for a County Commissioner, he was involved in many projects like; affordable housing, campaign against gun violence, public transportation, and Small Business Development. In 2018, he was part of a Business Mission organized by Miami Dade County to China.
In 2016, He was one of the graduates of the Mayor’s Executive Leadership Program, Miami Dade County. He is a player at the PortMiami Soccer Team. He also enjoys painting, kayaking, and watching sports.
