Marie Louis-Jeune received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University School of Pharmacy, is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified, and is dually board certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and Compounded Sterile Preparations (BCSCP).

She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at Memorial Regional Hospital and a Post Graduate Year 2 Residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration at Florida Hospital AdventHealth, in conjunction with the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Academy.

Marie practiced as a pediatric clinical pharmacist before transitioning into oncology, fulfilling roles such as Sterile Compounding Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Safety & Quality Coordinator. She currently serves as the Manager for Pharmacy Operations at the flagship hospital of the Memorial Healthcare System, serving 600+ beds.

She has led the OMH Chemotherapy Safety Workstream initiative, successfully obtaining QOPI recertification, and completed both the ASCO Quality Training Program and the ASHP Medication Safety Certificate. She has a passion for all things safety, quality, and process improvement, and has presented quality and process improvement initiatives she has successfully led at various conferences. Additionally, she inaugurated and chaired the Medication Safety Committee in oncology.

Marie is a member of ASHP and HOPA. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and creating activity books such as word search and sudoku puzzles.
