Yopro Class Of 2017

The Haitian America Chamber of Commerce of Florida (HACCOF) presents The Second Annual ” Top 20 Under 40″ awards to honor Haitian-American Young Professionals (YoPros) in the South Florida community, age 40 and under, for their commitment and contributions professionally, civically, academically and personally. As a community of vibrant, energetic, creative and out-of-the box thinkers, YoPros are an expression of cultural pride throughout the Haitian community.
 
HACCOF received almost 70 applications from successful young Haitian-American professionals in South Florida. Through a highly competitive process, HACCOF has selected the 2017 class of Top 20 under 40 YoPros and is pleased to announce the awardees.
 
On June 17, 2017, the YoPro Award ceremony will culminate the Haitian American Business Summit presented by the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, the Office of Miami-Dade Commissioner Jean Monestime and the Banquede la République d’Haïti (BRH). The Haitian American Business Summit is being held at FIU’s Kovens Center on June 16th and will provide an opportunity to evaluate and assess the current level of diaspora involvement in Haiti and explore new methods of interaction. HABS-2017 Miami will serve as a platform for Haitian American organizations throughout the United States, professional associations along with public & private sectors of Haiti to exchange ideas and establish a working plan toward greater cooperation. HABS-Miami 2017 will feature keynote speakers including high-level Haitian govern ment officials, leaders of the Haitian financial community and United States elected officials.
