Christian Lexima

Christian Parnell Lexima is a Senior Attorney at Demesmin and Dover Law and holds the distinct honor of being the first attorney ever hired by the firm’s founding partners. A proud graduate of Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law, a historically Black institution, Christian is an active member of both the Florida Bar Association and the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division, and a former member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Christian immigrated to Palm Beach County, Florida in December 2000 with his family. As the son of two entrepreneurial Haitian immigrants, Christian was drawn early on to the intersection of business and justice. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, with a minor in Legal Studies, from the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Before entering law school, Christian worked as a paralegal at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County (LASPBC) from 2013 to 2015, gaining meaningful experience in immigration law, fair housing, and the Navigator Program under the Affordable Care Act. At UCF, he also took on numerous leadership roles in organizations such as the Caribbean Student Association, Club Kreyol, and Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest professional business fraternity.

During his time at FAMU College of Law, Christian was elected Student Governor for the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division (YLD), representing his law school while bridging connections between students and the legal profession. Under his leadership, FAMU’s YLD chapter was named “Chapter of the Year” at the 2017 Florida Bar Convention, and Christian was personally honored as “Governor of the Year” for his exceptional contributions.

After completing his J.D., Christian returned to LASPBC—this time as an attorney—spearheading the Neighborhood Entrepreneurial Law Project, which provided legal support to emerging business owners and community entrepreneurs.

Fluent in Haitian Creole and French, Christian brings a strong sense of cultural competence, trust, and clarity to every client interaction. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and deep commitment to effective case management, he is focused on securing the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Outside of the courtroom, Christian is an advocate for balance and personal growth. He enjoys yoga, road cycling through South Florida, bodybuilding, and spinning tracks as a DJ, combining creativity and discipline in every area of his life.
