Edna Pierre

Edna Pierre is a Florida-based attorney specializing in personal injury, family law, and civil litigation. With a background in social work and public administration, she brings a compassionate and client-centered approach to her legal practice.

A proud first-generation Haitian American, Edna earned her Bachelor’s in Criminology and dual Master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from Florida State University, before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.

Her career began as a Dependency Case Manager for the Department of Children and Families, where she advocated for abused and neglected children. She later served as a Guardian Ad Litem and interned at the 6th Circuit Public Defender’s Office, working on juvenile justice reform.

After gaining experience in family, immigration, and personal injury law, Edna founded Pierre Legal, P.A., aligning her legal practice with her passion for advocacy and justice. She is dedicated to helping individuals who have experienced hardship, ensuring they receive the representation and compensation they deserve. Her mission is to guide clients through life-changing circumstances—whether involving personal injury or family law—helping them return to a place of normalcy, dignity, and security.

Beyond her legal work, Edna is a former Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, and an active member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Substance Abuse Reduction Alliance (SARA) Coalition, United Way of Broward County’s Creole Initiative Action Team (CIAT), and serves as a Board Member of the Haitian Lawyers Association (HLA).

Committed to giving back, she regularly engages in pro bono work, mentorship, and community outreach. In her free time, Edna enjoys spending time with family, writing poetry, attending live music events, exploring South Florida’s plant-based cuisine, and traveling.
