
Job Brunat
Job Brunat grew up in Florida and developed a passion for helping others early on. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Criminal Justice and Sociology from Florida Atlantic University in 2007. In 2013, he completed a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He holds licenses as a Mental Health Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). Additionally, he is a Credentialed Tier III United States Marine Corps Family Advocacy Counselor.
As the Owner and Primary Therapist at Challenges Conquered Counseling Services (2018-Present), Job oversees clinical operations, leads a team of therapists, manages cases, and provides individual and family therapy. He served as a Family Advocacy Program Counselor at the US Coast Guard Base in Miami Beach, FL (2021-2022). There, he provided counseling services, conducted assessments, facilitated therapy sessions, and offered crisis intervention. Previously, he worked as a Readjustment Counselor at the Miami Veteran Center (2020-2021), providing outreach, counseling, and therapy to veterans. He addressed PTSD, substance abuse, and homelessness.
During his time at Camp Pendleton, CA (2017-2020), Job served as a Family Advocacy Specialist and Clinical Counselor. He offered comprehensive counseling, case management, psychological evaluations, and crisis management. He also held roles at Palm Beach State College (2012-2017) as a Clinical Case Manager and Manager of Student Activities. There, he investigated reports of sexual violence, provided crisis intervention, and managed the Student Activities program.
In addition to his counseling roles, Job has worked as a Professor, Substitute Teacher, Coordinator of Teen and Special Needs Programs, and Case Manager/Social Worker. He is dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Moreover, he stays updated on the latest psychotherapy research.
