Myrlande (Lande) Simeon
Myrlande (Lande) Simeon serves as the South Florida Regional Director at BBIF Capital, where she plays a pivotal role in fostering the growth and success of small businesses through strategic lending, development financing, and technical assistance. An expert in banking and commercial financing, she has overseen more than $50 million in overall lending throughout her career, driving meaningful economic impact across diverse communities. With over 15 years of extensive banking and finance experience.
Her proficiency in storytelling and her ability to paint a compelling picture have been key in fortifying client business development departments. Lande is renowned for establishing industry-leading best practices in the finance sector.
A Miami native of Haitian descent, Lande is an active member of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida advisory council, Member of the Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce and seats on the Finance board for Pro-kel Mobility.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Lande is also the founder of a youth non-profit organization called Elevate Her Foundation here to empower young girls through a multifaceted mentorship program. She also founded the Mommy and Me Networking Seminars, empowering mothers and women who own small businesses and in 2022, she initiated the Boss Up Brunch Networking Seminar, equipping local business owners with tools and resources for success.
Myrlande’s outstanding contributions have been recognized through various awards, including 2025 Community Impact Awardee, 2024 Legacy Miami Most Powerful Black Professional, 2024 North Miami Beach Community Champion Award, Legacy South Florida’s Top 40 under 40 in 2023 and the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce’s Top 20 Under 40 in 2019. In 2016, she earned Bank of America’s prestigious Pinnacle Award and was named Bank of America’s Top Performer.
