Paul Bazile is a dedicated and dynamic professional currently serving as the Library Director of the North Miami Public Library. With over eleven years of service, Paul has contributed in various roles that have shaped the library’s services, programs, and community outreach.
Born in Haiti and immigrating to the United States in 2000, Paul brought with him a deep passion for knowledge and community service—values that have guided his career ever since. As the first and only Haitian Public Library Director in the United States, his achievements stand as a powerful testament to his dedication and perseverance.
Paul holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree from the University of South Florida and a Master’s in Public Administration from Florida International University, underscoring both his academic excellence and commitment to the field.
His leadership style is both inspirational and inclusive, with a steadfast focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. As Library Director, Paul oversees library programs, social media, marketing, and serves as a liaison to various city committees in North Miami. His mission to make the library a welcoming and resourceful space for all community members remains unwavering.
