Rose Lubin
Rose Lubin is a young Haitian-American, Miami-native, and National Board Certified Occupational Therapist. She specializes in Neuro-IFRAH® (Neuro-Integrative Functional Rehabilitation and Habilitation), focusing on adults with hemiplegia from stroke and traumatic brain injury. Rose is also skilled in Sensory-Enhanced Yoga® for self-regulation and trauma healing, Low Vision Rehabilitation, and Acute Skilled Therapy for critically ill COVID patients.
Rose’s work extends to pediatric outpatient therapy. She provides early childhood interventions for children with developmental delays and Autism spectrum disorders. Her diverse background is central to her mission of improving functional outcomes for patients across the lifespan.
A mission trip to Haiti inspired Rose to pursue Occupational Therapy. She saw it as a way to address healthcare disparities caused by medical conditions, disabilities, and socioeconomic status. As the third of five children born to Haitian immigrant parents, Rose values compassion, faith, education, and advocacy. These are key in supporting disenfranchised individuals and minorities in South Florida.
Rose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. She also has two Master’s degrees from Barry University—in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Early and Middle Childhood, and in Occupational Therapy.
With seven years of rehabilitation practice, Rose played a crucial role during the pandemic. She provided essential care to critical COVID patients. She also developed Sensory-Enhanced Self-Regulated Yoga® at Jackson North Rehabilitation Department. This program offers patients a holistic approach to managing stress and coping with medical conditions.
Rose Lubin is a rising star in the Haitian community. She is committed to helping her community not just survive, but thrive.
