Samuel Gilot
Samuel Gilot is an attorney at Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman, where he focuses on data privacy, consumer protection, and Medicare Secondary Payer Act litigation. He began his legal career at Florida State University College of Law, excelling in national trial advocacy competitions. After law school, Samuel joined the Florida House of Representatives as an attorney/analyst. There, he advised the House Democratic Party on commerce and insurance legislation.
In private practice, Samuel represented policyholders in high-end residential and commercial property disputes. He secured favorable outcomes, including multi-million dollar settlements. Now at Milberg, Samuel uses his litigation experience to advocate for clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. His work often involves high-stakes cases against large corporations.
Moreover, Samuel is deeply committed to community service. He serves as general counsel for the Florida State University Black Alumni Network, supporting Black students, alumni, faculty, and staff through recruitment, scholarships, and networking initiatives. Additionally, he directs the ICE Foundation, a nonprofit focused on mentorship and community service. He also leads fundraising for AEDEP, fostering partnerships between U.S. and Haitian organizations.

As a tutor at One Stop Math Tutoring, LLC, he helps high school students prepare for the SAT and ACT. Furthermore, he co-founded Soleil Entertainment, a production company that promotes Haitian culture through stage plays in South Florida.
